机电与汽车工程学院机械本科专业创建于 1977 年,根据教育部相关规定,机械专业先后使用过建筑机械、工程机械、起重运输与工程机械、机械电子工程,直至今天的机械工程及自动化等名称。本科主要招收北京市生源。本科专业分为两个专业方向:机电一体化和汽车工程。机电与汽车工程学院曾于 1985-1987 年招收工程机械大专班, 1988 年 -1998 年设立汽车运用大专专业。自 2000 年春天开始招收汽车检测与维修技术高职专业, 2000 级为安徽生源, 2001 级为内蒙生源, 2002-2003 级为内蒙和北京生源, 2004 级以后全部为北京生源,现已有三届汽车高职生毕业。机电与汽车工程学院每年尚与我校城建学院联合招收建筑设备设计方法及理论方向的硕士研究生。
近几年本专业机电一体化方向毕业生的就业去向是: 北京市各大建筑公司、房地产开发公司、物业管理公司、设备安装公司、机械设计研究院、所、机电产品生产企业、机电一体化技术的应用单位及高新技术公司等。汽车方向毕业生的就业去向是:汽车制造企业、汽车检测与维修服务企业、 汽车营销与管理企业、保险公司,车辆改装设计企业、 建筑业 的车辆运用、管理、维修部门。

我院的办学宗旨是:坚持以本科教学为中心,重视教学过程管理;重视实践教学和创新意识培养;注重在教学环节中根据科技发展情况引入新技术和新方法;坚持以市场为导向调整专业结构,调整教学内容,保持与学院总体办学指导思想、办学定位、办学特色相一致 , 使我院的教育体系和结构符合培养国家及首都经济社会发展需要的应用性人才。
人才培养特色是:注重专业基础知识、实践技能的培养,宽口径专业课程的设置,配合先进技术、先进软件使用的专业教育,使我院培养的学生具有明显的创新意识和应用型特点。学科专业特色是:城市建设机械和设备行业的机电一体化产品设计、开发、制造和维修以及汽车服务工程与制造;用电子和信息技术改造传统的机电和汽车产业。总体发展方向是将本院建成以服务城市建设为特色的,立足首都,服务城市化和机械制造和汽车业的人才培养基地、科技服务基地,自主创新和社会服务能力不断增强,综合办学水平达到国内同类高校的先进水平。

为适应首都城乡基本建设对高级人才的需求,本院积极开展教育教学改革,加强专业基础,拓宽专业口径,强化工程师基本技能的训练,全面提高学生的综合素质、创新意识和实践能力, 已形成科学合理的课程和实践教学体系。 本院设立有 “ 国家三维 CAD 教育培训基地 ” ,建有学校的 “ 机电创新基地 ” 、 “ 底盘发动机拆装实习基地 ” ; 为提高学生的计算机应用能力,本院引进了先进的三维设计软件 PRO/E , SOLIDEDGE ,有限元分析软件 ANSYS 等,为学生提供了设计分析全过程的软件平台。液压与气动、机制和机电一体化三大跨课程的综合实验已经覆盖了大部分专业必修课程,为培养学生的动手能力、设计能力提供了很好的实践平台,其中液压气动综合实验还获得市教学成果二等奖;每二年我院都举办 “ 机械创新设计大赛”等。综合实验和培养创新意识的各项举措受到了广大同学的欢迎,学生的设计和动手能力得到了很大的提高,学生科技创新多次获全国或行业比赛奖,我院学生完成的 “ 全自动移动搬运机器人 ” 项目,参加 2005 年全国挑战杯比赛,获得三等奖。毕业生就业率连年保持在 90% 以上,在全院名列前矛。

本院拥有一支具有较高教育、科研水平和技术开发的教职工队伍,教师中获 博士、硕士学位人员占教师总数的 100% , 具有高级专业技术职务比例超过 60 % 。 本院目前的教学单位有 机械工程及自动化系 、 汽车工程系 和 机电与汽车工程实验中心 ,实验中心下设十余个实验室,本院还设有北京市建设机械与材料质量监督检验站及机电新技术与质量研究所等科研服务单位。为借鉴国外先进教学理念和方法,我院还积极与国外大学合作,开展了多种形式的合作办学。

近年来,我院实验实习条件有了较大的改善, 实验中心购置了先进的实验设备,新增教学科研仪器设备价值 300 余万元,总值超过 430 余万元; 实验面积达到 1300 余平方米; 建有长期的校内外实习基地 8 个,大大提高了各实践环节的专业实验水平。我校图书馆机电专业技术藏书达 15.1 万册,基本满足我院学生专业学习的需要。

本院科研实力与科技服务能力不断增强,科研立项的数量、层次、到院经费以及取得的科研成果近年来均有大幅度的增长。 “ 十五 ” 期间各级各类科研项目立项达到 49 项,其中有多项国家和省部级项目,每年平均发表学术论文 20 余篇,出版教材学术著作达到 16 部;形成了一批相对稳定的科研方向。 主要的研究方向有:机电一体化技术研究、现代设计方法应用研究、 CAD/CAE 技术、新型建筑机械、设备的研制、机械系统动态特性分析、控制和检测,建筑机械安全寿命的评估及计算机管理软件研制等。我院曾与北京首都电梯厂合作建立科研开发中心,开发了多个新型电梯项目,取得了很好的经济和社会效益;为北京市的企业或建设管理部门提供了大量的科技服务,为北京市的建设做出了应有的贡献。我院的北京市建设机械与材料质量监督检验站配合北京市建设管理部门开展建筑机械的质量检验和监督工作,为北京市的城市建设管理做出了巨大的努力,得到了北京市建设部门的充分肯定。近三十年来,我院为首都城乡建设行业、高新技术企业培养了大批专业人才, 历届毕业生受到了市场的热烈欢迎,目前他们分布在北京市的各个企事业单位,从事设计、制造、技术开发、应用研究和管理等方面的工作,他们中的大部分已成为单位的骨干或各级技术领导,其中有的获北京市劳动模范等荣誉称号,为首都的经济建设做出了突出的贡献。

Brief Introduction to Mechanical and Electronic Engineering Department The mechanical speciality of the department for undergraduate was founded in 1976 and mainly receives students from Beijing City . The speciality has two special subjects: Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering. Since spring in 2000, the department has opened up professional training classes of modern automotive techniques and service. In addition, every year the department receives postgraduate students in mechanical equipment design method and theory, associating with the City Construct Department. At present the department has 521 students in total. In recent years the graduates from the department have got jobs like construction corporations in Beijing City, real estate corporations, equipment install companies , machine design academes and institutes, companies dealing with mechanical and electronic engineering technique application, high and new techniques enterprises, automobile manufacture factories, enterprises dealing with automobile test service, selling and management, insurance agents, etc.
The work objective of the department is: taking undergraduate education as the work center, emphasizing teaching process management, paying much attention to the practice education and training innovation intention, inducing new techniques and methods in teaching process with the development of science and technology, persisting in adjusting major structure keeping with the direction of market, holding pace with the institute in the education spirit, education orientation, education characteristics through adjusting education content.
In order to suit the needs of basic construction in the capital, the department actively takes on education reforms, intensifying basic knowledge, widening the major directions, strengthening basic skill training as engineer, enhancing synthesis ability of students, innovative intention, practice ability. The reasonable courses and practice education system have been constructed. The national 3-D CAD training base, institute mechanical and electronic innovetion base, chassis and engine dismantle practice base have been set up in the department. Three synthesis experiments for hydraulic press and gas transition, mechanical manufacture and mechatronics cover most of the main courses, which provide very good base in cultivating students' practice and design ability. The synthesis experiment for hydraulic press and gas transition won the second class prize of education in Beijing city. In addition, the project Self-motion Grasp Robot , completed by the students in the department, gained the third class prize in the National Challenge Cup Game. Over 90% of the graduates from the department have got the jobs all the time. To improve education level, the department actively cooperates with international universities in many forms.
The teachers of the department have high education level, research and technique exploitation ability. Over 94% of them have got master degree or Ph.D, and over 60% have qualification of advanced major technique duty. There are three education groups: mechanical manufacture, mechatronics, automobile engineering and an experiment center of mechanical and electronic engineering with over 10 laboratories in the department. In addition, the department has Beijing City Construction Machine Quality Monitor Inspection Institute and Mechanical and New Electronic Technique and Quality Research Institute.

In recent years, the conditions of experiment and practice have been greatly improved. All the equipments in the centre are worth 43,000,000¥. The laboratories have area of 1,300m2 . 8 practice bases have been built up and 150,000 books on mechanical and electronic technique have been held in the library.
The ability of scientific research and service in the department has been greatly improved. The research areas are mechatronics technique research, modern design method application research, CAD/CAE technique, new construction machines and equipment research, mechanical system dynamic characteristic analysis, controlling and inspection, etc.
